IN AND OUT
Students, Kaiako, visitors and caregivers must sign in and
out at the tari as part of our safety policy. It is important
that we have an up-to-date list of people who are onsite in
case of an emergency. Thank you for your support with this
safety issue

MANU
KORERO
Term 2 Week 9 will see the Manu Korero competition at Northland
College again this year. We will support Northland College
with the competition and will also send student participates
to represent our Kura in most sections. Keep an eye out for
a possible pre korero presentation by those representatives.
KURA
BUS
Kura
bus must be used only by Kura BUS students. Bus students should
catch the bus to and from Kura only! Some students are abusing
this privilege. If you need to catch the bus and do not usually
catch the bus you must have parental permission and sign a
register with Whaea Naomi in the tari.

Our Te Mahuri Syndicate will be travelling to Waiwera on this
day. A panui will be sent out in Week 5. The cost per child
is $20.00

Whaea Leah reports that our tamariki were just awesome at
their kapa haka performance in Rawene.
They honoured the kura by their stirring performance before
an enthusiastic crowd.

DAILY FITNESS
Term 2 will see the addition of Aerobics and inside Fitness
Activities for students as well as our 3.5km run before lunch.
Students are therefore required to bring a change of clothes,
appropriate running shoes and water bottles.
